2. Data Protection Officer
Media Tenor has not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as the legal requirements (in particular § 38 BDSG – generally fewer than 20 persons permanently engaged in automated data processing) are not met. Please direct any data protection inquiries to the contact address above.
3. Principles and Legal Bases
We process personal data exclusively within the framework of applicable data protection laws, in particular the GDPR, the BDSG, the TDDDG, and the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG, in force since 1 September 2023). We limit processing to the extent necessary to provide a functional web offering (principle of data minimisation).

- Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR: For the performance of contracts or pre-contractual measures.
- Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR: For compliance with legal obligations.
- Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: To safeguard the legitimate interests of Media Tenor (e.g. IT security, public presentation, responding to inquiries).

Our website is hosted by:

Phone: +421 33 7741 266
E-Mail: office@soltec.sk

Soltec s.r.o. is a service provider based in the EU. Personal data collected on this website is stored on Soltec’s servers. No transfer to third countries outside the EU/EEA takes place.
To ensure data protection-compliant processing, we have concluded a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with Soltec pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. This guarantees that Soltec processes the data only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.
Server Log Files
When you access our website, your browser automatically transmits information to the server (so-called server log files). This includes:
- IP address of the requesting device (possibly anonymised),
- Date and time of access,
- Browser type, operating system, and name of the access provider.
This data is not merged with other data sources.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free display, the optimisation of the web offering, and the defence against cyberattacks.
Retention period: Log files are stored for a maximum of 7 days and then deleted, unless further retention is required for evidentiary purposes in the event of specific incidents.
5. Cookies, Consent Management, and Web Technologies
Technically Necessary Cookies
To the extent technically unavoidable, we use cookies that are strictly necessary for the operation of the website (e.g. session cookies to maintain the connection).
Legal basis: § 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Consent Management with Real Cookie Banner
To manage the cookies and similar technologies used (tracking pixels, web beacons, etc.) and the related consents, we use the consent tool “Real Cookie Banner”. Details on how it works can be found at: https://devowl.io/de/rcb/datenverarbeitung/
Legal bases: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligation to document consents) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in managing cookies and consents).
The provision of personal data is neither contractually required nor necessary for the conclusion of a contract. You are not obliged to provide personal data. If you do not, we will be unable to manage your consents.
Website Statistics with Umami Analytics
We collect basic access statistics using the privacy-friendly open-source tool Umami Analytics. The instance is operated on servers within the European Union. In doing so:
- no cookies are set,
- IP addresses are hashed and not stored in plain text,
- no personal profiles are created,
- no data is shared with third parties,
- no data is transferred to third countries.
Umami Analytics is configured in such a way that the identification of individual persons is not possible. The integration is carried out, as indicated in the cookie banner, on the basis of a legitimate interest in the anonymous analysis of user behaviour for the purpose of optimising our offering.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Tracking and Marketing Cookies
Media Tenor does not currently use any cookies for marketing or tracking purposes (such as Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel). No profiling of your usage behaviour takes place. Should this change in the future, we will obtain consent via the consent tool as required (§ 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
6. Contact (E-Mail / Form)
If you contact us (e.g. by e-mail or contact form), your details will be stored for the purpose of processing your inquiry and in case of follow-up questions.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (where the inquiry relates to a contractual relationship) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in communication).
Retention period: Data is generally deleted within 6 months after the matter has been conclusively resolved, unless statutory retention obligations (e.g. commercial or tax law retention periods of up to 10 years) apply.
7. Newsletter
If you wish to subscribe to our newsletter, we require your e-mail address and your consent to receive it. We use the double opt-in procedure: after registering, you will receive an e-mail with a confirmation link. Your e-mail address will only be activated for sending after confirmation.
Service provider: We use the FunnelKit plugin for newsletter dispatch, which is operated locally on our own server. No transfer of your data to third parties or to third countries takes place.
Data processed: E-mail address, name if applicable, date and time of registration and confirmation.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).
Withdrawal: You may withdraw your consent at any time and unsubscribe from the newsletter. An unsubscribe link is included in every newsletter e-mail.
Retention period: Your data will be deleted upon unsubscription from the newsletter, unless statutory retention obligations apply. Documentation of your consent (registration time, confirmation) may be retained for a longer period for evidentiary purposes.
8. Data Processing in the Context of Business Relationships
If you are or wish to become a customer or business partner of Media Tenor, we process your master data (name, address, contact details, bank details if applicable) for the management of the business relationship, contract performance, and invoicing.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of contract). Data is only passed on to third parties to the extent strictly necessary for processing (e.g. banking institution) or where a legal obligation exists.
Retention period: Data from business relationships is retained in accordance with statutory retention periods (generally 6 or 10 years under commercial and tax law) and subsequently deleted.
9. External Links and Embedded Content
Our website contains links to external third-party websites over whose content we have no influence. The respective provider is always responsible for the content and data protection practices of linked sites. Media Tenor does not adopt such content as its own.
Where we directly embed third-party content (e.g. maps, videos), we ensure data-minimising integration (e.g. two-click solutions), so that no data is transmitted to third parties without your interaction.
10. Recipients and Third-Country Transfers
Your data is generally not passed on to third parties, unless we are legally obliged to do so or engage contractually bound processors (e.g. IT maintenance, hosting). All service providers we use are based in the EU/EEA. No transfer to third countries outside the EU/EEA takes place.
11. Your Rights as a Data Subject
Within the framework of applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to:
- Access your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR / Art. 25 DSG),
- Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR / Art. 32 DSG),
- Erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR),
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
- Object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR), where processing is based on legitimate interest.
To exercise these rights, please contact the address listed in Section 1.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority:
For Switzerland:
Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC)
Feldeggweg 1, 3003 Bern
https://www.edoeb.admin.ch
For Germany (where German data protection law is applicable): The competent state authority depends on your place of residence or the location of the alleged infringement.
12. Data Security
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, we use SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the padlock symbol in the browser bar and by the address bar beginning with “https://”. Please note that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) may be subject to security vulnerabilities. Complete protection against access by third parties is not possible.
